Razorfish has immediate openings for information architects in our New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Boston offices. As a member of our Information Architecture and Usability department you would work with our strategy, design, and technology teams to:

- Research and prioritize user requirements and functional requirements
- Develop the information architecture for web, mobile, and broadband applications
- Prototype site schematics for presentation to clients
- Document functional specifications
- Perform usability testing of proposed designs

Qualifications
- Degree in a related field, such as technical communications, human-computer interaction, or library science
- 2-3 years experience with the web
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Excellent presentation and client relations skills
- Experience designing web site and application interfaces
- Experience designing and conducting usability tests

Information Architect (Regular FT)

The user's experience is the first priority for Information Architects.

As the Information Architect, you will design intuitive interfaces and build information architectures for web sites. While working with our Engineering and Creative teams, you will be responsible for preparing and creating detailed site maps and application flow diagrams. In addition, you will also be responsible for creating page schematics that anticipate the useršs needs and provide clear, innovative solutions for web applications. You will also be involved in researching and assessing best practices for interface design. During this process, you will work closely with usability experts and will assist in presenting interface solutions to clients.

The Information Architect integrates the needs of the end users, the client, strategy, creative, and technology to create optimum information architecture.

Experience Desired
- Human factors expertise, web design experience
- Experience in creating site architecture maps (block diagrams/flowcharts)
- Page schematics, and application flows
- Interface-prototyping experience
- Experience working with graphic designers and engineering use cases
- Familiarity with usability testing of interface designs

Skills Desired
- Complete communication and presentation skills - Strong skills for information organization
- Strong team work skills ˇ Some web development skills (HTML, ASP, JavaScript)
- Strong interface design skills

Education Desired
- BA/BS (Concentration in Human Factors or HCI preferred)
